Abstract
The purpose of writing this article is to explain and explore the theory of
performance associated with organizational cultural factors and individual
competencies. Employee performance has become important terminology or
concepts in discussions, especially in encouraging the success of the organization
and human resources. Performance will always be the actual issues in the
organization for any organization's performance is key to the effectiveness of the
organization's success. Employee performance is an important issue and a
practical and theoretical standpoint. Employee performance is not only influenced
by the employees themselves, but also determined by several factors such as
organizational culture and competencies of individuals where the person works.
Competence is a concept in human resource management, which requires great
attention. No business, public or private, to detach themselves when discussing
competence. Theoretically, supported by several empirical studies, individual
performance is influenced by a number of factors, namely the organizational
culture and individual competencies.
